Meet for the Masters Use

In the book of James chapter 4:7 we see a beautiful picture of what it will take to truly be Meat for the Masters use. First we must submit, this speaks of an ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ. In a submitted believers life there is interaction, not just a mindset. To submit means to do it his way and not our own way. And then we must resist the devil. Resist means to have no part with him, any part, no compromise, we don't knowingly allow anything in our lives that would cause a reproach to who we are in the Lord. When we truly submit and then resist the devil this verse tells us he has to flee. When the devil is gone from our lives we can truly be Meat for the Masters Use. God Bless!!!
